“Break Through Reality”
A personal project exploring how Blizzard's visual identity can evolve to unite its expanding universe of worlds while maintaining a unified brand presence.
Role(s)
Brand Identity, & Motion Design, Web Design, Socials, UI
DescriptionBlizzard leans heavily into the fantasy aspect of their games and the immersive worlds within them. What makes these games so special is how they connect players to each world, giving them the ability to step out of reality and become someone or something different. This new identity captures that transformation and brings together the community of players with the expanding universe of Blizzard worlds.

Logo
The logo portrays the feeling of distorting or altering reality to fit with the new identity concept. I made parts of it fractured or reflecting, like with part of the B, mirrored upon itself.
Genres
Each genre has its own unique identity and color system that connects with the primary new look of Blizzard.
Web
I designed several pages for a refreshed Blizzard website, including re-imagining the Overwatch character presentation page. The original character page requires navigating through multiple separate pages to view each hero, making it difficult to browse the roster efficiently. My goal was to allow users to access information more intuitively, while also introducing an fun quiz to help new and returning players discover which hero best matches their playstyle
